Fresh evidence to support ECD’s long-term educational benefits
A recent article in Developmental Psychology, January 16, 2012, confirmed the long-term benefits of early childhood education in terms of educational benefits and economic benefits.
The study explored the educational, economic and social-emotional adjustment outcomes of adults aged 30 from low-income families that had participated in early childhood education, as opposed to those who had not.
The key finding of the study was that those who participated in early childhood education attained significantly more years of education than their counterparts.
